Buzzy... like a bee



Buzz. Buzz. Buzz... Well, in my case, ring, ring, ring. Ha! Most people groan at the sound of their phone going off all day long. And I mean... All. Day. Long. But me? I love it! This is why its taken me awhile to make a second blog post. My phone. And WHY am I loving its constant dinging? Scentsy! Yes, I said Scentsy! Boys. I have two in my house. One of the smaller type, we will call him Master 11. He's a boy of all boys. He is always getting his hands dirty, and never slows down. Extremely intelligent, Master 11 is, and the most cool headed boy I've ever met. Especially for one who is labeled with ADHD/ODD. He surprises me daily and makes my heart smile wide. He has a smile that will captivate your heart and leave such an impression that you'll never forget it. He's the class clown and loves meeting people. He knows no stranger. His heart is golden and pure. His life goal is to be a vet and open a no kill shelter for dogs. His best friend is his dog, he will tell you himself. Maverick understands him better than anyone. And that dog, that dog loves him with a love that can only be from heaven. He believes dogs are guardian angels and I believe that also. I'm so proud of who he is molding into. Its fun and a huge blessing watching a piece of you walk this earth and become who the Lord meant for them to be. And than there's the one of the bigger type, we will call him Lord Bearded Camaro. He's such a kind hearted man with just enough of a rough edge that balances him. Tender, patient and intelligent. His Momma and Daddy have done an amazing job raising him. He's supportive of my endeavor's and believes in me. Calls me beautiful daily and encourages me in a way no ever has. The good Lord broke the mold when he made him. He loves fast cars and we often date night to the local drag strip and try to attend most local car shows. Most Sundays we take out his beloved Camaro and just drive. He's a young boy at heart and I adore that about him. Smoking the tires makes for a happy man. Holding his hand and his heart also makes for a happy man. I love him with every fiber of my mind, body and soul. The Lord has blessed me with these two. I'm ever so thankful, everyday, for it.

I, on the other hand, am difficult. Well, stubborn is a better suit for it. You can call me, Lady Vintage Flare. I don't have a filter that fits my mouth, if something needs to be said, Lord knows I'll be the one to say it. Now, let me say, I do not gossip but if you want someone to tell you the bitter truth, come see me. I don't mind speaking the truth. Even if your voice shakes, the truth should be heard. If your coming to gossip though, go find a fence hugger with their coffee mug in hand. I'm old school to a certain extent. Old fashion south with a tweak of modern society. I'm a firm believer that the man is in charge but a woman is to be by his side, not in front or behind. Just the way God intended. Children learn from the adults in their lives, so make sure they are surrounded by good ones. Sometimes I wonder if my past life seeps into this one and that's where my vintage flare comes from. I love; a good laugh, deep conversations, studying my bible, talking to my besties, hanging out with my men folk, spending time with family, rusty stuff (mostly from the 30's-50's eras) and my Scentsy business/team/family.

These men folk of mine, they challenge me everyday with their man powers. Nerf wars, Lego building contests, Pokémon battles, work talk, school talk and so much more. Lord, I love them so. They make me laugh, deeply. Not just a giggle at a good joke from a buddy. I mean, they make me laugh, so deeply, that I smile for days after. In such a way that I feel like I just worked out for hours, focusing on my abs only. Take this morning for example. Lord Bearded Camaro gets up a bit earlier than Master 11 and I do... Lord Bearded Camaro states "O equestrian, its time to get up..." Not wanting to emerge from the warmth of the covers I jokingly said "Do the Macarena and I'll get up."... So what does Lord Bearded Camaro do? The Macarena. A horrible rendition of it. He slaughtered it. Folks... That's true love right there. Well, to us it is. Master 11 rolled his eyes, like all almost teens do. I'm sure he hopes that these actions don't take place while he's entertaining the neighborhood midget gang. But alas... They are often subjected to our goofy behavior. Especially Master 11. But more often than not he joins in. We love shenanigan's in this home. You'll hear a lot about them in this blog. You'll also probably hear a lot about God, Family and Scentsy.
